Tavish has already denied this.

Is Tavish to believed but Salmond must be a liar? Sounds like you're trying to steal Labour's mantle for hypocrisy.Don McCnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34128264.post-33130819832623491622012-04-25T01:08:36.620+01:002012-04-25T01:08:36.620+01:00When Alex Massie thinks there's no story here ...When Alex Massie thinks there's no story here there could well be no story. See here. And do my eyes deceive me or are Lib Dems mentioned twice in those extracts as supporting Murdoch's bid? Very strange.Angus McLellanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14238976801715524150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34128264.post-20043990550129633352012-04-24T23:14:24.463+01:002012-04-24T23:14:24.463+01:00I agree that there should be an immediate inquiry ...I agree that there should be an immediate inquiry into the fact that a News International employee suggestion that Mr Salmond would contact "Hunt" if he was asked to. (You seem to be keen to accept without question what a NI employee has written about what spokesmen for the FM have said. I'm sure there must be some doubt about the credibility of NI staff...?)

Mind, as Hunt was 100% for Murdoch in the first place, I'm not sure how necessary a functionary of the FM contacting Hunt would be. Cable, who was 100% against, even at war with, Murdoch would have been a different story.

But yes. Absolutely 100% let's have an inquiry into Salmonds relationship with Murdoch, Hunt, Cable and anyone else. We absolutely need to know that despite this Westminster government being corrupt beyond belief and having no regard whatsoever for English law, the Scottish government and its first minister MUST be above that.

Incidentally I see you have a gripe about only the two possible first ministers debating in Scotland, but the Liberals were happy to take part in a debate that ignored anyone but the three party leaders from England. No UKIP, BNP, or Celtic country parties involved.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
