They've said it could be a multi option ...Mark

They've said it could be a multi option referendum, but I guess a lot depends on the detail of what they will include. I am far from convinced that they want to have the referendum in 2010, and they would much prefer to have it in 2013-14 in a climate of discontent with a Tory Government.

I expect we'll have a great deal of bluff and bluster to come. Holyrood has a way of living down to our expectations as you may have realised if you read my account of the Megrahi debate last week.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04988201531739344840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34128264.post-52028348806811349542009-09-08T18:10:22.894+01:002009-09-08T18:10:22.894+01:00I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on Tav...I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on Tavish's leadership crisis Caron.

Why is he putting the Liberals in this rather awkward position when he's within grasping distance of achieving a mandate for radical federal reform?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34128264.post-86945789756858094842009-09-08T17:36:24.349+01:002009-09-08T17:36:24.349+01:00I'm not Scottish and am of the view that it is...I'm not Scottish and am of the view that it is up to Scotland if they want to become independent (although I do think it would be a sad day).

Your proposal to broaden out the referendum to include an option for more powers for Holyrood seems a good one.
