Raining on our Parade
Norfolk Blogger thinks he can rain on our parade by pointing out that lunar eclipses happen really, really often. However, this is the first one we've enjoyed as a family and got excited about. It's also supposed to be the best in years. It may never happen again like this for us. So we're enjoying it. So there:-)

Thanks for your comment. As long as it doesn't libel anyone, and isn't abusive, I'll publish it. I try to respond to as many as I can, but please forgive me if I don't. Sometimes there are just not enough hours in the day. I read and appreciate every one, even those specifically aimed at winding me up.
I would just point out that according to wikipedia, Lunar exlipses happen 4-7 times a year, and they voer a far greater swathe of the earth than a solar eclipe.

I can certainly remember several lunar eclipes, at least 5, although this was the clearest.
I am pleased you enjoyed it.
