The first live show of the new series of Strictly Come Dancing took place tonight. As some readers know, I am a bit on the obsessive side of Strictly. I thought it might be kinder to the hardened politicos who read this blog to set up a new one devoted to Strictly at
Strictly Sequins and Sparkles. I do not promise never to mention Strictly on this blog again, but at least it has an outlet for its excesses.

Thanks for your comment. As long as it doesn't libel anyone, and isn't abusive, I'll publish it. I try to respond to as many as I can, but please forgive me if I don't.
