Persuade Uganda not to pass "Kill the Gays" bill today

I'm not so sure that the Ugandans will take a whole load of notice of me, but I can't just sit by and watch while their Parliament debates a bill that would bring in the death penalty for being gay. And, actually, commuting it to 7 years in jail isn't acceptable either.

How can any state consider murdering people or locking them up just for being who they are? It's something that should concern us all.

Like Andrew, I've signed the All Out petition on the basis that international pressure worked the last time this measure was debated. Let's show Uganda, it's Parliament and President that we still feel as strongly. Please sign and share today.

Thanks for your comment. As long as it doesn't libel anyone, and isn't abusive, I'll publish it. I try to respond to as many as I can, but please forgive me if I don't. Sometimes there are just not enough hours in the day. I read and appreciate every one, even those specifically aimed at winding me up.
