Remember that old saying "you don't have to be mad to work here, but it helps". Well, in Deepest Bishopbriggs, there's a charity called Cue and Review where volunteers record various news media for blind and partially sighted people.
They do great work and deserve your support - whether cash, promotion of their work or volunteering. They've even made a video about how much fun volunteering for them is. Please don't let it put you off. Even if you don't live in Glasgow, watch it because it really is very funny. Boys will be boys, that's all I'm saying.
