Liberal Democrat Fraser MacPherson in Top 10 Councillor Blogs

Congratulations to Dundee's Cllr Fraser MacPherson on breaking into the Total Politics Top 10 Councillor Blogs with a 7 place rise to number 9. It's a great achievement and shows how popular his blog has come throughout the UK.

Other Liberal Democrats in the top 30 include Cllr Iain Roberts (I just love his history of Stockport election results - fascinating), and A Lanson Boy Cllr Alex Folkes and  Iain Sharpe's Eaten by Missionaries.

Fraser MacPherson - top Lib Dem Councillor Blogger

Iain Dale has started publishing his top bloggers' lists from his recent poll. Today was the turn of Councillor bloggers to come under the spotlight.

The top Lib Dem in the list is none other than the Scottish Blogosphere's Fraser MacPherson from Dundee, whose blog is one of my favourite reads. As well as loads of local information for the people in his ward, Fraser also discusses Scottish and UK wide politics from a Lib Dem perspective as well as his favourite music - it's Shirley Bassey week this week.

Congratulations to Fraser on a well deserved achievement.

Two New Millennium Bloggers

No, this isn't a reference to our favourite elephant but congratulations to two stalwarts of the Scottish blogging scene, Jeff and Fraser who today have made their thousandth posts on their blogs.

I like reading both of them and hope that they're good for at least another thousand posts.
