Yesterday afternoon at about 3pm, the intrepid Inverness Spinners successfully completed their 10 day, 900 mile cycle ride in aid of MS Society Scotland and Inverness SNAP,
Since 22nd July, they'd pushed on through a fair few pain barriers, up some fearsome hills and, on the last day, Caithness gave them the cold shoulder. Literally. It was a day of plummeting temperatures and destabilising cross winds.
Their Facebook page has video of their ecstatic arrival - you can hear the wind buffeting the camera.
They've raised, so far, £8157 of their £10,000. If you want to add to that total, you can do so here. I couldn't drive as far as they have walked and am so proud of them - and particularly my wee sis.
