Question Time Fail Deja Vu - Nigel Farage on AGAIN and no Lib Dem #bbcqt

I bring you news, dear readers, of yet another monstrous Question Time fail. My keyboard has become a wall against which I bang my head.

Two weeks in a row with no Lib Dem and, for the fifth time in 17 months, we have to listen to Nigel Farage, the former leader of UKIP again as his Twitter feed confirms.

I haven't updated the spreadsheet I didn't create in February for my Question Time Geeks Special edition in February but I think that I should.

There is definitely a correlation to us being missed off in weeks where we are most relevant and have most to say and have a unique contribution to the likely debates - I suspect Nick's performance yesterday at PMQs will be picked over for a start.

As I wrote in February:

It will be the third time we've had the dubious pleasure of Nigel Farage's dulcet tones. In fact, he was also on last February - the week with all the snow - with Shami and Will Young. Four times in just over a year, for the leader of the swivel eyed fringe? Someone at the Beeb is surely having a laugh. That's not counting the week Kilroy was on and the other UKIP person just before the European elections.

Seven times in one year for the right wing swivel eyed fringe as well as Nick Griffin? Heavily over-represented, I'd say.

I am cross.

A cynic would say that this is because the BBC are desperate to rescue the two party system because it's easier for journalists.
